Extensive range of Van Damme A/V and data cables now available from Rapid Electronics

Van Damme provide high performance solutions for notoriously demanding cable environments, such as outside broadcasts, recording studios, sporting events and live music venues. In fact the company can count Abbey Road studios, the bands Radiohead and Coldplay and the organisers of the Dubai Tennis Championships among its previous customers.

Over 600 Van Damme cable lines are now available from Rapid. The product range includes high grade screened analogue and digital audio cable, loudspeaker cable, networking, video and RF cable, manufactured to rigorous IEC standards governing fire resistance and Low Smoke Zero Halogen. All products are tailored to their specific application, with a variety of multicore, coaxial and insulation options and cable runs stretching from 10m to 500m, a key requirement of broadcast or touring environments.

Also available is the SeaCat range of 4-way and 8-way multi-core networking cable suitable for ships, boats and other marine installations. Ruggedness, flexibility and durability of these cables is just as vital as water and fireproofing. The full range of Van Damme product lines at Rapid include jacketed cables for speakers, microphones, lighting control, guitars, keyboards and other electrical instruments.
