JAE has launched an angle type plug to the JB12 Series (M12 X-code) compact waterproof Ethernet connectors, which are compliant with IEC standards.

As factory automation advances with the introduction of robots and automated equipment, industrial equipment is becoming miniaturized and more complex, requiring space-saving wiring solutions.

To meet these needs, JAE has released the JB12 Series (M12 X-code and D-code) compact waterproof Ethernet connectors, which achieved the industry’s smallest class, are compliant with IEC standards, and have been well received.

As a new X-code variation, JAE has developed an angle type plug in addition to the conventional straight plug.

The JB12 Series angle type plug allows the cable to exit at a 90° angle from the housing without the need to bend the cable in tight spaces. This achieves space-saving wiring without placing a load on the connector and cable.

Additionally, the angle end bell (a component used to fix and protect the cable) can be secured in any rotational position, allowing the cable’s exit direction to be chosen freely within a 360° range.

It is a compact waterproof angle plug connector that has an expanded crimp termination range for X-code, AWG #22 to #30

Applications cover robots, automated equipment, industrial equipment such as machining tools, railway vehicles and general equipment
