Connectors provide high speed and high definition ports
Connectors, claimed to provide high speed and high definition ports for 6G SDI Broadcast and CoaXPress Machine Vision applications, have been launched by Cambridge Connectors. The 6GHz 75Ω dual port DIN 1.0/2.3 connectors, which enable an enhanced packing density of connections on a standard PCI Express card, meet SMPTE 424m standards with maximum VSWR of 1.13 (DC-3.0GHz) and 1.29 (3.0-6.0GHz).
The connectors are compatible with standard DIN 1.0/2.3 connectors and have a push/pull latching system which provides a secure interconnection, making them suitable for use in high density wiring environments where space is at premium and access can be limited. Such applications include UHD Video Broadcast, Process Control and CoaXPress Machine Vision.
