Authorised distributor Astute Group is delivering the Amphenol NEXUS Technologies’ miniature RANGER Tactical Communications Interconnects and cable assemblies for mission-critical signal and power applications.

A quick and easy mate and unmate feature makes them ideal for use in soldier-worn, harsh environment applications.

Meeting and/or exceeding the Department of Defense’s communications, command, control, computer, and cyber defence (C5) systems’ specifications, the “Made in the USA” pin and socket push-pull or break-away locking components’ small footprint are ideally suited for soldier-worn applications, together with a broad range of vital harsh environment power, aerospace, and public safety communications networks.

This rugged, light-weight, multipurpose connector can be used for signal and power applications. Multi-pin configurations are coming soon.

The diameter of male and female connector is smaller than a penny.

Operating temperature range is -60°F to 257°F (-51°C to +125°C).

The connectors come in a lightweight yet rugged aluminium ruthenium plated body.

They are rated to IP-68 and IP69K, with more than 5,000 mating cycles

Custom cable assembly is available.

Astute Group offers a design-in service for the connector.
