Cinch unveils space-ready Micro-Ds and sockets

Engineered with precision and designed for demanding environments, this new product line is set to redefine durability and reliability standards for engineers working across aerospace, defence, and other mission-critical applications.

The Dura-Con Space Grade Micro-Ds are built with twist pin contacts and machined sockets, which are specified in NASA’s EEE-INST-002 standard and offer unparalleled resilience in the most challenging conditions. The integration of M83513 style micro-d connectors, DAP insulators, nickel-plated aluminium shells, and ETFE insulated wires ensures high performance even in space-constrained applications where size and weight are critical factors. Additionally, these components feature low outgassing materials, with levels under 1.0% TML and less than 0.1% CVCM, meeting stringent requirements for space flight applications.
