The durable aluminium shell provides EMI shielding and is D-shaped to provide polarity and improve installation reliability.
These D-shaped micro miniature rectangular connectors are designed for applications that require a rugged, high performance, densely compacted 0.050-inch (1.27 mm) pitch interconnect.
The connector suits applications where weight and space must be kept to a minimum while maintaining maximum reliability.
Reliability is assured with the gold-plated unique wire form pin providing seven points of contact when mated. Micro-D DURA-CON are one of the most widely used high-density connectors.
The connectors are qualified (QPL) to MIL-DTL-83513 requirements.
Cadmium and electroless nickel plating options are offered.
