Bus connector enables fault-free EMC compliant data transfer
A bus connector, which features with an internal cable clamp that enables a simple and reliable connection and fault-free EMC compliant data transfer, has been released by PROVERTHA. The Special IK connector offers a cable connection with 35° to the D-Sub mating interface. Nine screw terminals enable the universal usage for Modbus, RS 232, RS 422 and RS 485.
An effective 360° EMI/RFI shielding and reliable strain relief is achieved by full metal housing and a solid cable clamp.
The universal bus connector features a screw terminal for the assembly of flexible or solid wires with diameters of 0.14-1.0mm (AWG 26 – AWG18). Cables with diameters of 6-9mm are also supported. Locking is enabled via UNC 4-40.
The Special IK connector, which is IP20 rated, operates across a temperature range of -20 to +75°C, up to 200 mating cycles.
