This feature is particularly important for low maintenance or maintenance-free battery systems such as Li-ion battery packs, since the connector will need that low contact resistance throughout the long service life of the application.

Combining low insertion and removal forces with a novel rapid locking system, the connectors are fast to use. This saves time and reduces the cost of maintenance. The BCC battery cable connector from Multi-Contact features a very compact design which saves space, especially in applications where multiple batteries are interconnected.

Particularly safe to use, the BCC connectors provide IP2X "finger safe" touch protection when connected. Suitable for industrial applications, the new connectors feature rugged plug insulation.

Featuring a rated voltage of 300 V and a rated current 165 A, the BCC battery cable connectors are supplied terminated to both ends of a 300 mm long cable with a 50 mm2 cross-section.
