Cables/Connecting
FRES cabling and harness solutions from Tekdata
Tekdata Interconnect is now offering a complete range of solutions for FRES (Future Rapid Effect System) and other military vehicles. Tekdata not only does provide a complete design, development, prototyping, trialling and production service, but the company can also do supply the complete range of cables and harnesses that is needed in a modern military land vehicle.
Low-cost IP67 push-pull connector from Aerco
Aerco is supplying the Binder 440 series of miniature, plastic, circular connectors introduced to meet the growing demand for a low cost push-pull circular connector with IP67 protection.
Plug improves reliability of card edge connections
The HARTING AdvancedMC plug has been developed to further enhance the contact reliability of the connection of AdvancedMC modules and MicroTCA backplanes. The new connector replaces the card edge and associated gold contact pads of the AdvancedMC module, which can suffer from variable surface quality and unstable tolerances and are expensive to produce. The AdvancedMC Plug, on the other hand, is manufactured using a tightly specified process and ...
PCB mounting sockets for industrial relays
Finder has announced 97.11 and 97.12 sockets for PCB mounting of its 46 series miniature industrial relays. These sockets allow engineers designing power control equipment to mount a plug-in power relay with robust terminals in a simple manner onto a PCB. They are particularly suitable for circuit boards where the ability to change power relays quickly is essential for maintenance and the minimising of downtime in the event of a fault.
Distribution system cuts installation time by up to 80%
A new distribution system from Contrinex offers a complete interconnect solution that replaces expensive connector cabinets, terminal boxes and complex, error-prone wiring systems thus cutting installation times by up to 80%.
Military specification connectors from Amphenol and ITT
Farnell has significantly boosted the range and availability of military specification connectors it offers by including market leading suppliers ITT and Amphenol in its extended range initiative. The move will allow customers in the military, aerospace, defence and industrial markets to source a wide range of non-standard and uniquely assembled connectors on an accurate and reliable three-day lead-time.
IEC-connector filters with very low mounting depth
The range of SRB filters from Tyco Electronics ranks as one of the IEC-connector filters with the lowest installation depths on the market. The SRB filters are fully shielded and available with various capacitance values. This unique combination results in an outstanding common-mode rejection, which minimises the interference voltage depending on the model, and can reduce the radiation interference.
90° moulded RJ45 with IP20Lock for improved vibration resistance
Yamaichi Electronics has introduced a product to its Y-Con industrial connector series, a 90° moulded version of the IP20Lock with RJ45 plug, designed for high vibration environments. The Y-ConIP20Lock-31xx products are cable assemblies moulded together with the proven IP20 locking mechanism which, thanks to the ergonomic locking clips can be handled easily and without the need for tools.
Barrier terminal blocks ease installation and improve safety
Aimed at PCB manufactures, OEMs, CEMs and equipment manufacturers, Euroclamp MT17 touch-proof terminal blocks available from Switchtec are designed to replace older style barrier terminals. The blocks share the latter’s excellent connectivity characteristics but offer improved human interface features and installation benefits.
Connector module includes 12 crimp contacts for power and signal transmission
The Han Q 12/0 from HARTING is an industrial connector module incorporating 12 crimp contacts, allowing power and signal connections to be combined in a single compact unit. The new module can be used for applications which require power transmission at up to 400 V and 10 A alongside the interfacing of control and diagnosis signals.
