Harwin has announced ex-stock availability of a range of competitively-priced Firewire (IEEE 1394) connectors capable of transferring data between devices at 100, 200, or 400Mbit/s. Two styles are available: a six pin version that provides power handling; and a reduced-size four pin device.

Self-adhering gasket for industrial connectors from Harting
A new self-adhering gasket has been added to the HARTING Han range of industrial connectors. The new gasket allows the seal to be attached directly to the housing, which makes installation easier. In addition, the screws are securely held onto the housing and seal, minimising the chance of them being lost.
