Lapp Group has announced key additions to its ÖLFLEX range of high performance cables. The ÖLFLEX CHAIN 879 and the screened CHAIN 879 CY cables are UL-listed high flexibility power chain cables that meet the NFPA 79 standard currently required by all machine manufacturers exporting to the USA.

The Han-Power T Modular Twin from HARTING is a hybrid connector including modules for both power and signal transmission. The new device is designed to provide maximum flexibility in industrial power bus systems, allowing a high degree of decentralisation in applications such as intelligent motor controls mounted on the machine or conveyor being controlled.

Molex has introduced the EXTreme Ten60Power connector that can reach a current rating of 60A per blade at a 30° T-rise. Harwin has just launched 101Lok, a fast-mate version of its secure, 2mm pitch, J-Tek Datamate cable to cable, cable to board and board to board connector family. Historically, secure mating has been achieved with the Datamate J-Tek version using Jack screws. New 101Lok Datamate connectors require only a simple ‘quarter turn’ – actually 101 degrees – to ensure complete security of the retention device.
