Torpedo hinge now available in black
The torpedo hinge, offered by FDB Panel Fittings, is now available in a “Black” version. The torpedo-style hinges are used in traditional chrome plated finish for electrical cabinets and enclosures, allowing doors to be quickly mounted or removed from frames.
The black version of the torpedo hinge offers good corrosion resistance in normal industrial environments with the added benefit of a significant price point reduction. It is manufactured in die cast zinc alloy with a 10mm stainless steel pin, with rig tests having shown two hinges on a 1m frame comfortably carrying a 60kg load (equivalent to 60NM (3.43KN).
Aesthetically pleasing, the FDB Black torpedo hinge is now available from the FDB online store.
