New Tablet Style Enclosures From TEKO

TEKO have launched TEKWALL, a new range of ergonomic tablet style enclosures. These highly attractive multifunction housings are suitable for desktop, wall mounted and hand held electronics. Typical applications include medical and wellness devices, data collection equipment, building services systems, security and detection electronics, machine control, measurement instruments, and much more.

TEKWALL enclosures have a very modern tablet style profile with external dimensions of 252 x 210 x 40 mm. The enclosures are moulded in ABS (UL 94 HB) in off-white, RAL 9002 – other colours are available on request.

The case assembly consists of a top and base moulding with two hinged covers which provide access to the two lateral battery compartments. These are designed to accept 2 x 1.5V AA cells each. Battery contacts are included in the kit.

The lateral hinged covers also hide both the case assembly screws and the external mounting screws if the enclosures are fitted to a wall, panel or machine housing. As a result, the fully assembled TEKWALL enclosures have no visible fixing screws.

A recess in the top section is provided for a membrane keypad or product label. Screw pillars are moulded in the top and base for mounting PCBs, displays and assemblies.

TEKWALL enclosures are supplied with a sealing gasket which provides IP65 protection for outdoor and industrial use. Prices start at £52.

TEKO can supply the TEKWALL enclosures with additional holes for push-buttons, connectors and controls etc., plus silk-screen printed legends and logos. The cases can also be moulded or painted in alternative colours.
