ShowMeCables launches swing-gate racks

These innovative racks feature a hinged front gate that opens 180 degrees, allowing for easy access to rear cables and equipment. The new line includes 10 models, all with the standard 19-inch width, available in two depths and five capacity options, accommodating up to 18U.

Unlike traditional wall-mounted or floor racks, ShowMeCables’ swing-gate series is designed to maximise space efficiency by keeping equipment close to the wall, eliminating the need for additional space to roll the rack forward or rotate it to access the rear. This makes it particularly suitable for use in network closets, hallways, retail environments, classrooms, and offices.

The newly introduced swing-gate racks are built to professional standards and come with various certifications. Constructed from cold-rolled steel with a durable black powder coating, each rack can support up to 110 pounds of equipment.

For larger components, five of the swing-gate racks offer a depth of 24 inches, with capacities of 6U, 9U, 12U, 15U, or 18U, all capable of holding 110 pounds of gear. For smaller wall spaces, the other five models are designed to hold equipment up to 18 inches deep, with the same range of capacities. Depending on the model, they can support either 110 pounds or 55 pounds.

All models in the new swing-gate range are compatible with both square-hole mounting using M6 cage screws and nuts, and threaded mounting with 12-24 screws.
