Protect cabinets from unauthorised access
Providing multiple levels of security for stand-alone data cabinets, the AGENT E 3000 programme has been introduced by EMKA. Alongside single cabinet locking and access logging, the programme is suitable for a number of individual cabinets administered separately in a data centre.
The programme features an infra-red key fob operation mode and a central wireless operation mode. The former enables multiple authorised access and logging of identity, while the latter enables an expansion of the system.
The AGENT E swinghandle forms a flexible security module within an expandable network, making it suitable for server cabinets or machine controls where unauthorised access is likely to put personnel, machine or information safety at risk from tampering, vandalism/sabotage, data theft or inappropriate usage.
The basic AGENT E package features electronic swing handles and TAGs (hand-held transmitters). To open the cabinets users simply need to point the TAG fob/pendant at the handle, which is programmed to respond to the multi-modulated diode on the TAG. Master TAGs can also be programmed. A maximum of 32 User TAGs and up to 5 Master TAGs per swing handle can be enabled. In the event of a power failure, emergency power supply is possible via the USB interface.
The professional AGENT E package is configurable via USB using the AGENT E Management Suite. This allows users to configure locking plans, time profiles and read out the event log. The package can log up to 2000 entries, and the Master TAG protects the USB interface against unauthorised use.
When used alongside an Access-Point, the AGENT E package allows users to administer all processes centrally. Swing handles can be configured, read out and opened remotely. The package can log up to 5000 entries, and interconnection to the handles is possible via a radio transmission and system-specific access point.
For multi-point locking, the AGENT E swinghandle is compatible with other EMKA door closure equipment such as cams and rod controls. Door contact sensors can also be linked to all versions.
