In addition to its durability, SOLID-BOX boasts a sleek, polished finish that complements its industrial strength. Flush snap-on trims conceal tamperproof, corrosion-resistant Torx fixing screws and captive lid screws. Separate screw channels allow for ‘lid closed’ installation, safeguarding the seal and internal electronics.
The gently sloped lid features a large recess, ideal for a membrane keypad or product label. The base section includes deep recesses on the long sides, offering extra protection for connectors and interfaces. Internal fastening pillars accommodate PCBs, mounting plates, and DIN rails.
SOLID-BOX is moulded from PC+ABS (UL 94 V-0), available in anthracite grey (RAL 7016) or light grey (RAL 7035). It offers increased heat resistance (Vicat/B 120 = 110°C) and is free from chlorine and bromine flame retardants. Custom colours are available on request.
It comes in three sizes: 115 (135 x 115 x 50mm), 145 (180 x 145 x 60mm), and 175 (225 x 175 x 70mm). The rear mounting points on the 145 and 175 sizes align with the hole patterns of VESA MIS-D 75/100.
A variety of accessories are available, including lid retainers, internal hinges, non-slip feet for desktop use, and self-tapping screws for securing PCBs or DIN rails. Compatible cable glands (M12 to M20) and bushings are also offered.
