NavePoint, an Infinite Electronics brand, has introduced a new range of 23-inch-wide two-post and four-post server racks.

These racks accommodate wider telecom, audiovisual, broadcast, and server components, while also being compatible with standard 19-inch equipment. They are particularly suitable for higher density installations that require additional cable connections.

The new range includes open-frame racks with two-post and four-post floor-standing models, as well as two-post wall-mount units. All are constructed from heavy-duty cold-rolled steel with a protective black powder-coat finish.

The 23-inch-wide four-post floor racks are available in 25U, 42U, and 45U capacities, each supporting up to 881 pounds of equipment. With an exterior width of 27.3 inches and a mounting depth of 24 inches, they can accommodate most components while fitting into smaller spaces such as IT closets. Users can opt for either threaded or square holes for mounting.

The 23-inch-wide two-post floor racks also come in 25U, 42U, and 45U capacities. These racks support 750 pounds, slightly less than the four-post models, but they are more compact, with a 24.3-inch exterior width and a 14-inch-deep floor base. Mounting options include threaded or square holes.

NavePoint’s 23-inch-wide two-post wall racks are available in 6U and 9U capacities. These racks feature threaded mounts that can hold up to 100 pounds and are designed to fit into very small spaces, with dimensions of only 25 inches wide by 24 inches deep.

Additionally, NavePoint offers a range of accessories for the 23-inch racks, including shelves, drawers, horizontal cable managers, spacers to fill empty rack slots, and adapter brackets for mounting 19-inch-wide components.

“Wider racks allow you to keep a greater variety of components in one convenient space,” said Tim Houghton, Product Line Manager, Infinite Electronics. “The added roominess also improves ventilation and gives you more space for cables, and installation and maintenance are easier.”
