METCASE has introduced a new range of versatile tilt/swivel carry handles designed for installation on any metal electronic enclosure specified by the customer.

These ergonomic handles also function as desk stands, offering adjustability in 30° increments to allow the device to be positioned at an optimal angle for both viewing and operation.

To order a handle kit, the customer must specify two main components. The first component is the side arm kit, which includes two die-cast zinc side arms with location bosses (featuring a spring ratcheting mechanism), two snap-in moulded push-buttons, two anti-slip rubber rings for stable desk placement, and the necessary assembly screws. Installing the side arms requires machining three holes on each side of the enclosure.

The side arm kits are available in four standard colours: off-white (RAL 9002), anthracite (RAL 7016), light grey (RAL 7035), and black (RAL 9005). The push-buttons can be provided in either a matching or contrasting colour.

The second component is the extruded aluminium handle bar, which fits between the two side arm assemblies. The length of the handle bar corresponds to the width of the customer’s enclosure, minus 26 mm. METCASE will then supply the handle bar cut to the correct length. The handle bars can be painted to match the side arms or finished in silver metallic (RAL 9006).

To order the handle bar, select the part number corresponding to the desired colour and replace the XXX with the required length. For example, for an enclosure with a width of 350 mm, the machined bar length would be 324 mm (350 mm minus 26 mm). Thus, the part number would be M50930-324 with the bar finished in silver metallic (RAL 9006).

METCASE also offers the option to have the handle kits painted in custom RAL colours. For these special orders, the push-buttons will be supplied in black (RAL 9005).
