Lian Li releases two modular chassis: PC-V359 and PC-Q36
Lian-Li Industrial Co. Ltd has announced the release of two highly modular, brushed aluminium chassis with slide off side panels: PC-V359 and PC-Q36. The Micro-ATX PC-V359 and Mini-ITX PC-Q36 feature a see-through top panel and front window, making builds easily visible from the top and the front.
Taking Modularity to the Next Level
Both chassis are are almost entirely modular – the top panel can be removed with the twist of four thumbscrews, and once removed, the side panels can be slid right off, providing total access to interior hardware in a matter of seconds.
Furthermore, after removing the two thumb screws from the 3.5” cage, the cage itself, as well as the entire front panel, can be removed. The back panel can also be removed after taking out two screws.
Versatile Cooling
The PC-V359 and PC-Q36 can utilise air, water, and passive cooling to keep builds running at a comfortable temperature. Ventilation with filters are located at the top of both side panels. One side can support a 240mm radiator, while the other side ventilates the GPU.
Hardware Compatibility
The PC-V359 supports VGA cards up to 320mm (12.6”) in length and CPU coolers up to 160mm (6.3”) in height. The PC-Q36 supports VGA cards up to 300mm (11.8”) in length and CPU coolers up to 170mm (6.7”) height. Both chassis have a slim optical bay located on the bottom of the front panel.
Connectivity
The I/O panel is located on the front right of both chassis. Connectivity includes two USB 3.0 ports and HD audio connections.
Price and Availability
The PC-V359 and PC-Q36 will be available in the UK in the middle of June for the suggested retail prices of £106 and £88 respectively.
