OKW has extended its ‘ART-CASE’ series with twelve new models. These enclosures have been designed for modern indoor electronics and typical applications will include transmission and reception units in building services, medical equipment, peripherals and security devices. The new models include newly designed screw-on access plates on the base section, which provide easier access to the battery compartment to replace the cells, or access to the electronics for servicing and calibration.

The ‘ART-CASE’ series is offered in two versions: the round type 110 and the oval type 160. Both versions can be specified with a smooth domed top or a flat recessed top for fitting a membrane keypad or product label. The base sections can be horizontal or inclined at 30° or 60°. External dimensions range from Ø110 mm x 30 mm to 160 mm x 110 mm x 95 mm.

‘ART-CASES’ are moulded in off-white ABS (UL 94 HB). Black, RAL 9005 is also available on request. Fast assembly is facilitated by a bayonet case locking system with no visible fixing screws. PCB mounting pillars are provided in the base and top sections

Accessories include a battery cradle for 2 x 1.5V AAA cells, a wall mounting kit and a cable clamp.

OKW can supply the ‘ART-CASES’ with additional holes for push-buttons, connectors and displays, plus silk-screen printed legends and logos, and EMC shielding. Prices start at £8.
