Emerson Network Power today expanded its AutoDesk building information modeling (BIM) software offering with the release of BIM-enabled Revit models of standard Liebert DS precision cooling systems. BIM-enabled Revit models of standard Liebert DS precision cooling systems are available globally.

For optimum efficiency Rittal’s range of wall-mounted air/water heat exchangers will now be supplied with the following features. For quick and easy installation the air/water heat exchangers can now be mounted and removed completely from outside the enclosure without having to open the enclosure door.

NKK Switches have unveiled the YB2 Series of 24mm square, flush mount and tamperproof panel seal pushbutton switches. These YB2 devices are ideal for applications requiring a low-profile, yet secure and splash proof design. Design engineers can also choose either power rated or logic level options. Ratings are 3A@125V AC, 3A@250V AC or 3A@30V DC for power models, and 0.4VA@28V AC/DC maximum for logic level versions.

Based on customer requirements new cost saving innovations and improvements have been implemented into the manufacture of Rittal’s TS 8 enclosures. The following updates will start to take effect from December 2012 onwards.

Emerson Network Power today announced its first system-level OpenVPX fanless enclosure - including power, storage and processor elements - designed to minimize size, weight and power (SWaP) for military, aerospace, commercial and other High Performance Embedded Computing (HPEC) applications. The Emerson Network Power VPX3000 includes a configurable I/O Adapter Board (IAB) that routes I/O from the payload blades to the front of the enclosure.

Emerson Network Power today announced three new models of the Liebert DSE, the industry’s most efficient room-based data center cooling system. The 80kW, 85kW and 150kW units will join the 125kW unit previously released, opening new applications for the system that is setting new standards for data center cooling. All new models are available across North America.
