The field-proven Diplomat family from Verotec is an elegantly styled enclosure, available as a 19 inch or 10.5 inch wide thermally managed, EMC capable unit suitable for housing stand-alone systems, as a 19 inch caseframe for direct mounting of boards and modules and as a vertical tower unit.

Rittal have extended their range of Cool Efficiency cooling units with the introduction of the new Premium Series. Using a powerful comfort controller system that consumes 40 to 50% less energy than the standard Rittal cooling units, the Premium Series is in addition to Rittal’s standard TopTherm units. Cooling outputs of 1kW and 2kW are available now with the complete series up to 40kW, being completed in the spring.

Now available from electronics packaging specialist Schroff is a range of NEMA Type 9 enclosures, which are designed for housing electronic or electrical equipment in locations that are hazardous due to the presence of combustible dusts.

FDB Panel Fittings’ range of stainless steel handles, hinges, locks and swing handles are now joined by the IP65 7-078 compression latch and its sister variant 7-079 with depth adjustable shaft. Easier assembly of busbar systems will save time and money using Rittal’s RiLine60 busbar technology for the construction of low-voltage switchgear. Design improvements to the busbar supports mean that the integrated step mechanisms for adapting to the flat bar cross-section can now be locked using pins. Engineers have the flexibly to insert flat copper bars retained in a holder from the front, or slide them in from the side.

Following customer demand, OKW have extended their award winning ‘MINITEC’ range of pocket-size enclosures. These highly attractive multi-coloured housings have been designed for personal electronic devices which can be carried in the hand, on a key ring, wrist strap, or lanyard.
