METCASE has launched portable versions of its new ‘UNIMET-PLUS’ instrument enclosures. These modern and versatile housings have been designed for desktop and portable electronics equipment. Typical applications will include portable test and measurement instruments, medical and wellness technology, industrial control, interfaces, peripherals and communications equipment.

Bud Industries , has announced the SA Series Open Rack Shelves. Constructed of 16-gauge steel and flanged for extra support, these highly durable shelves can support up to 150 pounds of rack equipment. Available for next day shipping, the SA Series shelves fit open racks with 19- and 23-inch wide panel spaces and 5.25 inches of panel height.

Fischer Elektronik have extended their broad range of practical and functional miniature aluminium casings to include a new series of miniature aluminium casings with integral seals.

The wide variety of cases offered by Fischer Elektronik has now been extended to include four new versions of Frame design case. These multi-purpose tube cases made from aluminium have integral guide slots and serve to accommodate non-standard PCBs or components.

To overcome the problems associated with the need to design, source and build outdoor enclosures to order, Rittal has a range of CS basic aluminium enclosures available from stock and ready for immediate use.

Combining high thermal performance, labour-saving attachment mechanisms and adaptability, the new C Series range of heatsinks from Ohmite has been extended to include a version for TO-126 devices. Camming clips which eliminate the need for mounting holes and screws, are resilient and provide the same amount of force after repeated use.

Verotec has introduced a slimline wall mounted enclosure, a versatile enclosure that houses electronic or electrical equipment mounted on 1U or 2U 19” panels, which fit vertically into the two separate 2.5U deep panel mountings in the unit. It is also ideal for use as horizontal breakout cabinets or as distribution units in structured cabling systems employing either copper or fibre media.

Rittal’s new SE 8 is a one piece monobloc, single construction floor standing enclosure, with an integrated TS 8 frame. A direct replacement for Rittal’s ES 5000 freestanding monobloc enclosure, the SE 8 has a removable rear panel which is secured from the inside and shares many design features with Rittal’s TS 8 bayable enclosure.
