SoM ushers in efficient embedded computing
The Tungsten510 SMARC system-on-module (SOM) from Ezurio is now being shipped by authorised distributor Mouser Electronics.
It includes a Genio 510 processor and Sona MT320 Wi-Fi 6/Bluetooth 5.4 radio, paired with high-performance LPDDR4 RAM and eMMC storage.
This combination of features enables an efficient solution for smart cameras, industrial IoT, autonomous robots and vehicles, vision systems, and other embedded applications.
This SOM balances power efficiency with peak computing performance by combining a 2.0GHz dual-core Arm Cortex-A78 and quad-core 2.0GHz Arm Cortex-A55.
Combined with an Ezurio universal SMARC carrier board, the Tungsten510 functions as a single-board computer (SBC), accelerating time to market. The SOM also features a dedicated AI accelerator capable of delivering up to 2.8 TOPS for high-performance edge machine learning tasks.
It supports smartphone-level UIs and 3D performance with an Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU and dual displays for 4K60 and FHD60 resolutions.
Further features include a 4K video encoder and decoder, two MIPI-CSI camera interfaces, image signal processing up to 32MP, and a HiFi 5 audio DSP.
The Tungsten510 SMARC provides excellent Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Classic/LE connectivity, including in challenging environments. The SMARC also supports WPA3-Enterprise to provide additional security for networks transmitting sensitive data.
These SOMs have global radio approvals and carry several modular approvals, including FCC, IC, CE, and Bluetooth SIG.
