Inelco Hunter has developed the powerPRO, a 5.1V Power PCB and USB-C Adaptor for the Raspberry Pi 5.

The powerPRO solves the problem of needing multiple power supplies when integrating the Pi5 with a display. Any additional peripherals can be effortlessly added, consolidating the power management into one convenient hub.

With an industrial design, the input voltage spans a wide range, from 5v to 18v. Multiple output connections deliver a consistent continuous 6A rating. The Pi 5, along with a display and other associated peripherals, can now be powered up from a single Power PCB.

Engineered to streamline the Pi 5 set-up, the powerPRO is an innovative solution allowing connection of the new Pi 5 to a display using the powerPRO as the single power source. For example, the Inelco Hunter 10.1 TFT (D90101 series) Touch Panel offers a “ready to go” integrated display solution with the Pi 5.

Designed with efficiency in mind, the compact footprint ensures a snug fit on the Pi 5. The D/5831/PWR5V has an overall size of 68.1 x 27.6 x 14.0 mm, while the D/5831/USBC has an overall size of 26.4 x 14.0 x 12.7 mm.

A versatile range of mounting accessories and cables provides flexibility for placement in various configurations. The powerPRO features standard RPI mounting hole spacing. Multiple output connections are provided: USB-C, 2.54mm, 6-pin JST.

The maximum continuous current is 6A and there is built-in thermal shutdown protection for overcurrent situations. The powerPRO Power PCB is UL recognised and RoHS compliant.

Inelco Hunter's in-depth engineering support ensures rapid implementation, speeding up the customer’s time-to-market, and Inelco Hunter's engineers will work with the SME engineers. This added-value support is at the core of Inelco Hunter’s philosophy, and has been for the last 30 years, setting them apart from the "stock and ship" distributors.
