AAEON Announces a New Compact Board with Various I/O Ports and Intel Atom Processor: PCM-LN02
AAEON introduces a new 8 x 5.75 Compact Form Factor board that features Intel Atom N455 or D525 Processors and ICH8M chipset. Since the Atom platform was created specifically for low-powered, mobile, high-performing and durable life-cycle products, PCM-LN02 embodies all of these coveted qualities. The SBC with the N455 processor comes with a fanless heatsink while the SBC with the D525 processor comes with a fanned heatsink.
PCM-PCM-LN02 has a rich variety of features, but there are options to modify or add features to this adaptable Compact SBC, says Joe Lin, Product Manager of AAEON's Embedded Computing Division. It includes optional legacy IDE and TTL interfaces, so it is easy to upgrade the CPU board in your existing systems. It also supports Dual Intel Gigabit Ethernet Ports to incorporate further functions such as the Ethernet backup connection. As a result, it offers more options for countless expansion selections. With an operating temperature support of 0 C ~ 60 C and a storage temperature of -40 C ~ 80 C, PCM-LN02 is able to adapt to many environments. Thus, PCM-LN02 is perfect for applications such as Molding Machines, Meat Weight Measurements, Security, Industrial Automation, Transportation and Control Rooms.
For more even more versatility, end users can utilize PCM-LN02 for Parking Lot and Convenience Store applications by using the numerous USB ports to connect to coin machines or via RS-232 to card readers. PCM-LN02 also includes an optional Onboard Trust Platform Module (TPM) to provide security applications. With all of the I/O and options, AAEON's PCM-LN02 can easily be implemented into many applications prevalent in today's Embedded market.
