The UP Xtreme i14 developer board from AAEON UP is in stock at authorised distributor Mouser Electronics.

Based on the new Intel Core Ultra processor platform (formerly Meteor Lake), the i14 boasts an AI-integrated SoC Architecture that enables the single board computer (SBC) to execute heavy task loads and real-time data processing effortlessly.

Combined with its robust expansion capabilities and unmatched, industry-leading image capture features, the board delivers maximum efficiency in a compact footprint for various industrial, healthcare, artificial intelligence (AI), and smart retail applications.

The board features the Intel Core Ultra 5/7 SoCs with 16 cores, Intel Arc graphics for crystal clear imaging, and an Intel AI Boost neural processing unit (NPU) that delivers up to 32 TOPS, ideal for autonomous mobile robotics (AMR), Smart Retail, and AI-assisted healthcare imaging.

The board also features up to 64GB dual-channel LPDDR5 memory and two M.2 2280 M-keys (PCIe Gen 4 x4 for NVMe or SATA SSD) to ensure lightning-fast data transfer and responsiveness.

To maintain the stability of the board's CPU temperature (0°C ~ 60°C w/ cooler) and voltage (9-36V DC-in) during operation, the CPU limits power using frequency scaling.

Along with the board's 40-pin GPIO, The Up Xtreme i14 offers three USB 3.2 Gen 2 interfaces (via two Type-A and one Type-C port) and two USB 2.0 interfaces (via a Type-A port and internal 10-pin header).

Alongside its diverse USB configurations are two Ethernet ports, one providing 2.5GbE and one Gigabit Ethernet speed.

There are also two additional M-keys (an M.2 3052 B-Key for 5G and an M.2 2230 E-Key for Wi-Fi/BT) and an onboard TPM 2.0 for security.

For imaging and display options, the developer board features dual MIPI camera support for high-resolution image acquisition, along with four simultaneous display types, including two HDMI 2.1 ports, a DP 2.1 port, and a DP 1.4 port (via USB Type-C) – all capable of achieving 8K resolution at 60Hz.

The AAEON UP Xtreme i14 developer board is available from Mouser in a space-saving 120.35 mm x 122.5 mm footprint. AAEON provides support for Windows 10/11 64-bit and Ubuntu 22.04 with Linux 6.5 and greater.
