The rock-solid, low-power and flexible x86 feature set in combination with the small footprint make the CEM840 suitable for a wide range of ruggedised, graphic-rich applications. The energy-saving CoM is designed for serial signaling protocols, including one LPC, four PCIe x1, two SATA-300, one Gigabit Ethernet supporting Wake-on-LAN, eight USB 2.0, one USB 3.0, HD audio, 4-in /out Digital I/O, one LVDS (18/ 24-bit single channel), and one DDI port supporting HDMI/DVI/DisplayPort. To ensure reliability and stability, hardware monitoring and Watchdog Timer are supported. For evaluation and development purposes, the CEB94008 carrier board is also available upon request.
