Avalue announces ECM-ASL rugged SBC

It delivers enhanced CPU and GPU performance, introducing up to 8 Gracemont cores, and a scalable range from 2 to 8 cores to address a variety of industrial demands. ECM-ASL provides significant enhancements in processing power and AI capabilities tailored for industrial and communication sectors, featuring a rugged design to conquer even the most challenging environments.

ECM-ASL succeeds where others fail. This micro module motherboard not only integrates 16~32 GPU EU architecture, substantially amplifying CPU and GPU capabilities, but also supports a staggering 0°C to 60°C operating temperature range, or an even more extreme -40°C to 85°C range depending on the selected CPU configuration, making it ideal for use in scorching deserts, freezing industrial freezers, or anywhere in between. In addition, ECM-ASL accepts a wide input voltage range of 9VDC to 36VDC, ensuring uninterrupted operation in areas with unstable or unreliable power sources. This feature makes it perfect for applications that suffer from power fluctuations or rely on generators.

ECM-ASL offers unmatched connectivity and expandability, including triple display support via DP 1.4a, HDMI 2.0b, and LVDS/eDP for versatile display configuration and flexible I/O with 3 USB 3.2 Gen 2, 3 USB 2.0, 1 RS-232/422/485, 3 RS232. Moreover, the dual Intel 2.5GbE Gigabit Ethernet ports provide high-speed networking, while dual M.2 expansion slots offer additional storage and functionality. ECM-ASL shares a similar I/O placement with former Intel Atom 3.5” SBC ECM-EHL, making it easy for customers to upgrade their system with less structural changes. For superior performance in demanding applications, ECM-ASL is equipped with a single DDR5 SODIMM socket that supports up to 16GB of DDR5 4800MHz memory, providing high performance required for industrial automation, machine vision, and other resource-intensive tasks.
