Mini-ITX boards feature powerful graphics & low TDP
congatec has announced the expansion of its industrial-grade Mini-ITX motherboard portfolio with two highly efficient low-power conga-IGX variants that are based on the Gen 2 AMD Embedded G-Series SoC processor (codenamed "Steppe Eagle") and feature powerful SoC integrated AMD Radeon graphics. The low-power motherboards are scalable with a TDP ranging between 5 and 15W max.
SBC permits multi-processor PCIe-connected stacking
Sundance has taken full advantage of the current generation of Xilinx Zynq SoCs, integrating dual-core ARM A9 CPUs, four lanes of PCI-Express and reprogrammable logic with Artix-7 FPGA technology, and incorporated it into the latest PC/104 form-factor, called OneBank. EMC2-Z7015 is a stackable SBC compatible with PCIe/104 OneBank PCI-Express interface and VITA57.1 FMC, controlled by a Xilinx Zynq SoC FPGA.
Evaluation kits aid processor design
The ADZS-SC584 and ADZS-SC589 Evaluation Systems from Analog Devices are now in stock at Mouser Electronics. The ADZS-SC58x evaluation systems help designers develop and test the ADSP-SC584 and ADSP-SC589 SHARC processors. Based on ADI's SHARC+ cores and DSP accelerators, the processor family features an ARM Cortex-A5 processor as well as FPU and Neon DSP extensions.

ADL Embedded Solutions has announced the design-in success of the “Ramet” project (use of PCIe/104 in harsh environments). Ramet opts for ADL’s PCIe/104 ADLE3800PC-E3845 SBC for the control and evaluation of its speed monitoring systems of the RAMER 10 family, which consists of compact modular radar cameras featuring Doppler radar with 34.0, 34.3 or 24.125GHz.

The STEVAL-ISA162V1 Evaluation Board from STMicroelectronics is now on sale at Mouser Electronics. This new evaluation board implements an isolated flyback (12V/0.84A) 10W wide-range mains developed for general-purpose applications. The core of the application is the VIPer25HD, an off-line, high-voltage converter from the ST’s VIPerPlus family.
