Vecow Edge AI platforms are certified for UL 62368-1
Vecow, a team of global embedded experts, has announces that the Edge AI Platforms, including GPC-1000, ECX-2000 and EAC-2100, have been verified by UL (Underwriter Laboratories), an independent testing and validation organisation. Vecow’s products have been awarded the UL 62368-1 (certification number E527056).
UL 62368-1 is the new standard for audio, video, information, and communication technology equipment. Based on the Hazard-Based Safety Engineering (HBSE) principles, the standard ensures safety for end users and offers greater flexibility in designing safe products.
Vecow GPC-1000, ECX-2000 and EAC-2100 have complied with UL 62368-1, bringing benefits including safety assurance, trusted design, and global recognition for end users. The GPC-1000 is a workstation-grade computing system, capable of bringing real-time AI computing to the edge.
Based on Intel Xeon/Core i7/i5/i3 processor with Intel C246 Chipset, the system delivers a maximum power budget of 1500W. The ECX-2000 is powered by 10th Intel Xeon/Core i9/i7/i5/i3 processor and features up to 9 GigE LAN, a host of other I/O, and is suited for rugged applications.
The EAC-2100 Edge AI Computing with NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX module delivers a powerful computing performance of up to 21 TOPS. In addition, it provides vision standards with GMSL technology linked with Fakra-Z connectors, GigE LAN, PoE+ and USB 3 interfaces.
“Authorised by UL, our products have achieved the safety and sustainability standard to meet the increased demand for product safety in hazardous locations,” said Hsuan Lee Product Manager, Embedded Systems & Platform Division at Vecow. “The GPC-1000, ECX-2000 and EAC-2100 meet UL 62368-1 approval and make them suitable for medical, machine vision, and public transportation.”
