It is getting increasingly difficult - and expensive - to find available parking spot in big cities. The Real Time Parking Service feature in Sygic's Car Navigation both navigates drivers and saves them money. The online booking option means it's easy to reach the space closest to your final destination. In London, Paris or Amsterdam, average parking prices are even higher. These European capitals, according to a global study by Parkopedia from May 2017, are among the top 16 cities with the most expensive short-term parking costs.

Prices for two hours parking in London's capital can cost up to 42€, but street spaces are 5.50€. Through suggesting availability and prices, Sygic's Car Navigation feature offers money-saving alternatives.

Sygic, the smartphone navigation service with more than 200 million unique users around the globe, has revealed a new functionality for its Car Navigation app that allows drivers to find the cheapest, closest or available parking to their destination, pay for it and navigate directly to the parking space. Each Premium user of this app can now freely enjoy the online navigating to any of Parkopedia's 60 million spots in 8,000 cities across 75 countries worldwide.

Sygic's Car Navigation is especially optimised to work with car’s built-in infotainment system via smartphone to in-dash connectivity. Drivers can control commands through the steering wheel controls, dashboard buttons or touch screen. The technology aims to reduce a driver’s urge to pick up and look at their mobile device.

Navigation giant Sygic provides its Car Connected app for various car manufactures. In brands as SKODA, Honda, Volkswagen, Citroen, Jaguar, LAND-ROVER, Peguot and Seat drivers can use the Car Navigation app already for long time. Announced at MWC 2017, Sygic became the first ever GPS Navigation app working with Ford Motor Company’s SYNC AppLink. Ford Fiesta alongside other Ford SYNC 3 enabled vehicles has the capability to offer drivers the ability to mobile navigation from the phone screen to SYNC 3’s in-vehicle touch screen.

Available in more than 200 countries and about 40 languages, Sygic technology is optimised to work seamlessly with Ford SYNC 3 – giving drivers more choice in how they navigate. The Sygic Car Navigation app is launched for iOS mobile operating system, Android devices will be added by the end of the year 2017.
