Ambarella launches comprehensive Edge AI developer platform

This platform brings together hardware, finely-tuned AI models, software, and services, supporting Ambarella’s entire AI system-on-chip (SoC) range. It simplifies the development process for customers with its versatile, modular, and pre-assembled set of development tools, including Cooper Metal for AI SoCs and board-level hardware, and Cooper Foundry, a comprehensive software stack.

Cooper Metal comprises power-efficient AI SoCs, Systems on Module (SoMs), and developer kits loaded with Cooper Foundry, a software stack with four key components:

• Cooper Core, offering Linux-based OS, compilers, SDKs, and integration with open-source software tools
• Cooper Foundation, with Model Garden, a library of open-source, pre-trained neural network models
• Cooper Vision, providing tools for multi-modal sensor processing and fusion, such as camera, radar, and LiDAR data
• Cooper UX, featuring a user-friendly Lychee-based interface, streamlined debugging through Cooper Home, and sample apps for AI application development and performance analysis

Cooper Developer Platform's unified toolkit aids in creating multi-chip systems using any Ambarella AI SoC.
