Analog Devices has announced what is believed to be the industry’s first 16-bit quad DAC (digital-to-analog converter) in a compact 3 mm x 3 mm, 10-lead LFCSP (lead frame chip scale package) – a development that will free up to 70% more board space.

UNIPOWER Europe has added to its expanding range of power supplies designed for CompactPCI-based systems. The company now offers DC input equivalents to the AC input models announced towards the end of last year and, like their AC counterparts, they offer power outputs between 175 and 400W. Powersolve has announced a family of Industrial DC-DC converters that will suit a very wide range of applications requiring nominal 12V, 24V or 48V DC inputs. Manufactured by Astec, the new family comprises five series of DC-DC converters with outputs from 6 to 30 W.
