High End TFT Display for Industrial users.
Dedicated NEC TFT Specialist distributor, Review Display Systems, has introduced a new format Industrial Grade TFT from the NEC range.
Microcontrollers with Flash and integrated EEPROM memory
Microchip has announced the PIC18F4685 family of 8-bit high-performance, low-power, 28- and 44-pin Controller Area Network microcontrollers with 80 or 96 Kbytes of Flash and integrated EEPROM memory. This is said to be the largest amount of program memory available on a PIC18 microcontroller with an onboard ECAN module for CAN connectivity.
Step-down converter will interest designers of a wide variety of portable systems
AnalogicTech has introduced the AAT1142, a voltage-scaling step-down converter for portable applications. Supplying up to 800mA output current, the device is said to be the first voltage-scaling step-down converter to offer dynamic voltage management through both a two-wire I2C interface and AnalogicTech’s patented single-wire Simple Serial Control digital interface.
Powersolve launches Sine Wave DC/AC Power Inverter Family
Leading power solutions specialist company Powersolve has announced a series of true sine wave DC/AC power inverters available with UK, European or American AC sockets. The Powersolve PSIT series is available in four power ranges – 150, 300, 600 and 1000W and offer true sine wave outputs of either 230VAC (50Hz) or 115VAC (60Hz). Inputs are nominal 12, 24 or 48VDC.
New 2 x 3 mm DFN Package for Microchip's 6- and 8-pin Microcontrollers
Microchip has announced that all of its 6-pin PIC10F microcontroller family are now available in ultra-small 2 mm x 3 mm Dual Flat No-lead (DFN) packages for space-constrained applications. Three members of Microchip’s 8-pin Baseline PIC® microcontroller family are also available in a 2x3 DFN, providing additional I/O and functionality with the same footprint. The 2x3 DFN package requires 30 percent less board space than a SOT-23 package, at a...
Vicor Introduces New Mid-Power 48 Vin Micro Modules
Vicor announces the addition of six mid-power Micro DC-DC converters to the 48Vdc input family: a 50W model at 3.3 Vout and 75W models at 12, 15, 24, 28, and 48Vout. The modules — which incorporate Vicor’s patented low-noise Zero-Current and Zero-Voltage Switching (ZCS/ZVS) — are appropriate for power system applications in distributed power, medical, ATE, communications, defence, and aerospace.
No soldering necessary for press-fit connectors
Introducing a new range of high performance, RoHS-compliant connectors, GTK’s press-fit D-subminiature terminations provide robust mounting to PCBs without the need for soldering.
Finder extends range of instruments for energy consumption monitoring
New to the Finder range of energy consumption meters is the three-phase 7E.36 Series, which includes single and dual-tariff kWh models for the measurement, recording and display of power consumption in individual sub-circuits at current levels up to 65A.
5.7" and 3.5" TFT Panels
Recognising that today’s engineers are looking to save development costs, Review Display Systems Ltd has introduced two new compact TFT panels one 5.7 inch and one 3.5 inch that feature identical hardware platform requirements.
