Ramtron expands high density FRAM family with a 2-megabit device
Ramtron International has extended its family of high density FRAM devices with a 2-megabit parallel memory device. The FM21L16 is a 2Mb, 3-volt, parallel non-volatile FRAM in a 44-pin TSOP-II package that features fast access, NoDelay writes, virtually unlimited read/write cycles, and low power consumption. Pin-compatible with asynchronous static RAM (SRAM), the FM21L16 targets SRAM-based industrial control, metering, medical, automotive, milit...
Test fixtures and enclosures from Clare eliminate shocks
The risk of an electric shock during product testing is completely eliminated with the latest range of test fixtures and enclosures from electrical safety testing specialist Clare Instruments. The range enables the operator to carry out the safe and controlled electrical testing of a wide range of products within the production and laboratory environment, complying with the requirements of EN 50191 – Erection and Operation of Electrical Test Eq...
PC18 PRO compiler features new optimisation technology
The Hi-Tech PIC18 PRO C compiler for the Microchip PIC18 family of microcontrollers, featuring a new compilation technique known as OSG (Omniscient Code Generator), is now available in the UK from Computer Solutions.
32-Channel, 1GHz Logic Analyser
The LA-Gold-36 high performance logic analyser with an integrated pattern generator has a large data buffer of 1 Mega samples per channel for sampling rates of up to 1 GHz on all 32 channels. The large buffer allows long capture times at high sampling rates. The digital logger function is for capturing very slow varying signals, e.g. room temperature.
5000W Power Converter
The C5100 Series is available in 3 standard DC input voltage ranges from 320-800VDC as well as 3-Phase AC input voltages of 3 x 400VAC (320-460) and 3 x 480VAC (400-530). Single outputs are available in 6 standard ranges from 23-200VDC. All outputs are adjustable and fully regulated to 0.2% or better (load) and 0.1% (line).
Custom service helps users add colour to mono displays
Anders Electronics has further expanded its display design and engineering capabilities by launching a new service that allows the company to cost-effectively add a variety of colour options to standard monochrome displays. Believed to be the industry’s first service of its type, Anders’ M2C (mono-to-colour) custom offering is ideal for customers who want to employ colour to optimise the user machine relationship (UMR), but for whom migration...
IEC approved UMF fuse in 1206 package from Arrow
Now available from Arrow, the Schurter USI 1206 is the industry's first IEC approved Universal Modular Fuse in a 1206 footprint. In addition to conformance to IEC 60127-4/2, the device bears international approvals by cURus, METI and CCC. The new fuse series has high melting I²t values, which provides greater withstand against inrush or pulse currents. In lower overcurrent conditions its opening time compares to 1206 time-delay types according t...
Flash LED driver from AnalogicTech
AnalogicTech has introduced the first in a family of flash LED products capable of driving either two LEDs up to 500mA or a single LED up to 1A. Designed to be used with newer-generation, high-current/high-brightness flash LEDs in mobile phones with video recording, the AAT1270 step-up current regulator delivers the high current levels needed to support flash lighting for higher resolution CCD imagers in a single 3x3mm STDFN package.
Embedded USB Eight-Channel Analog Output Module with Arbitrary Waveform Generator
ACCES I/O Products has announced the latest addition to its extensive line of USB-based data acquisition and I/O modules—Model USB-DA12-8A. Introduced at the Embedded Systems Conference Boston, the board features eight independent 12-bit digital-to-analog converters (DACs) and broadly configurable arbitrary waveform generation (ARB) capabilities. This module can be used in any PC or embedded system with a USB port and is an ideal choice for tes...
