Impact of 5G a key topic at CES 2017
Steve Mollenkopf, CEO of Qualcomm, will give the keynote address at CES 2017 which will run from 5th-8th January in Las Vegas.
Mollenkopf will address CES attendees at 9.00am on Friday, 6th January in the Palazzo Ballroom in the Venetian. He will discuss the revolutionary impact 5G will have in our day-to-day lives, both from a technological and experiential perspective, as well as its broader impact on industries outside of mobile.

5G is the newest technology standard in development for mobile technology. It is a foundational technology that will enable connectivity on a massive scale, facilitating immersive experiences, driving the Internet of Things (IoT) and allowing for new mission critical services.
Since becoming CEO in March 2015, Mollenkopf has led the expansion of Qualcomm’s business into sectors such as the IoT, wearables, automotive and healthcare. He is a published (IEEE) author and holds seven patents in areas such as power estimation and measurement, multi-standard transmitters and wireless communication transceiver technology.
