Koreans pick Keysight to partner on 5G test
Keysight Technologies has been selected by DT&C, a Korea-based company that offers test certification services, to establish the country's first 5G new radio (NR) Regulatory System using Keysight's 5G test solutions. Early access to Keysight's proven 5G test solutions enables DT&C to deliver 5G testing and verification services to the Korean mobile device ecosystem.

The West Midlands has been selected to become home to the UK’s first multi-city 5G test bed. The multi million pound trial of new high speed connectivity will pave the way for the future rollout of 5G across the UK, making the region the first in the UK ready to trial new 5G applications and services at scale.
78% of African countries will offer 4G services by the end of 2018
By the end of 2018, a total of 43 out of 55 African countries (or 78%) will offer 4G services, according to GlobalData. In spite of this, there are a few laggards, one of them being Mozambique – a country of nearly 30 million people. However, in late July 2018, Mozambique’s telecoms regulator finally announced that a 4G auction will take place in the next 2-3 months, meaning services would most likely come online in 2019.
