Enea has unveiled its end-to-end 5G Data Management suite, enabling interoperability between network functions in a software-defined 5G core. Following the successful acquisitions of Openwave Mobility and the Telco Solutions Convergence Creators business unit from Atos/Siemens, Enea has integrated and updated its cloud-native solutions to give operators a best of breed option for management of data in 5G networks.

According to the company, the Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 Platform is the world’s first 5G-supported extended reality (XR) platform. It unites Qualcomm’s 5G and AI innovations with XR technology to usher in a new era of mobile computing. This platform unveils custom features and boasts multiple firsts that can be scaled across Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR) and Mixed Reality (MR).

5G conformance test solutions from Keysight Technologies have been selected by Korea Testing Laboratory (KTL) for global 5G new radio (NR) device certification. They will be used for 5G NR device testing related to 5G radio frequency (RF) and protocol conformance validation as specified by 3GPP.

Anritsu says it is leading the way in both 5G protocol and RF carrier acceptance test (CAT) coverage for a Tier 1 U.S. operator. Anritsu has achieved leading 5G protocol coverage, with more than 200 test cases now available. The only other approved test vendor is validated for 81% of Anritsu’s total, giving Anritsu an advantage at mobile device manufacturers planning to use the operator’s carrier acceptance tests.
