3D printed valve body for field testing
Neles has delivered its first valve with a 3D printed valve body for field testing. Except for the body, the valve is a standard T5-series ball valve made of stainless steel. It will be tested at Teollisuuden Voima’s power plant in Finland. The project is done in cooperation with Teollisuuden Voima and Fortum.

Laser Lines has installed the Stratasys J750 Digital Anatomy 3D Printer in CPI’s National Healthcare Photonics Centre. The Centre is a combination of bio-labs and instrument development facilities where companies can work alongside CPI staff in facilities for the development of medical technology using photonics.
Line of photopolymers for 3D printing launched
Evonik has developed two photopolymers for industrial 3D printing applications and has introduced them under the brand names INFINAM TI 3100 L and INFINAM ST 6100 L. The two ready-to-use materials mark the start of a new product line of polymer resins suitable for use in common VAT polymerisation technologies such as SLA or DLP.
