Universal Input to 12V@1A PSR Isolated Flyback with Integrated 700V Switch Reference Design

A quasi-resonant primary-side regulated isolated Flyback is used to provide 12V @ 1A from universal input voltage (90Vac to 264Vac). The converter does not employ any optocoupler and regulates the output voltage by sensing the auxiliary winding on primary side. A peak input voltage detector is used to sense input AC voltage: delivering 1/100 AC RMS equivalent voltage: with a +/-5% precision.
