Wide Input 2W Bias Power Supply

This reference design is a 2W bias power supply for applications requiring operation over a wide input range (110 - 500VAC). The small form factor (69mm x 26mm) and high efficiency of this design make it ideal for e-metering applications. Information provided in this design will reduce time to market by providing important test data such as efficiency: output ripple: startup: and switching stress. Additionally: TI has conducted emissions testing on this design to ensure that it exceeds the EN55022 Class B limits.
