System designers using TI USB controller devices must make certain design decisions involving the vendor ID (VID) and product ID (PID) of the USB device and the location of firmware. If these are not configured properly the device will not be enumerated correctly by the USB host.This document discusses how these are handled within a system using one of the TI USB device controllers.
