Description
This application report provides points to be considered when updating an existing 10/100 Mb/s Ethernetdesign using Texas Instruments DP83843 Ethernet Physical Layer (PHY) product to the new DP83848PHYTER™ product. Although the basic functions of the device are similar differences include feature setpin functions package and pinout and possibly register operation.
