UNIPOWER adds “Live Support” to its website to allow true interaction with customers

“Live Support” is accessible throughout the site, allowing customers to discuss a product while looking at the relevant page or section. Where appropriate, the UNIPOWER team member can also “direct” the customer’s browser to a particular part of the site for discussion. If required, an email transcript of the “conversation” can be sent to the customer.

Commenting on the new “Live Support” section, UNIPOWER’s Nigel Frey said, “There is often much more to specifying a power source than simply ticking a box or a quick email or phone call. What we are offering with our new “Live Support” facility is the chance for customers to view and select a power source with the real-time assistance of a UNIPOWER support team member. In this way, customers get to discuss their application and the exact power supply solution required with an expert – live. And it is already proving a success.” He concludes.

UNIPOWER produces a complete line of switching power supplies and fault-tolerant power systems up to 10kW. The product line includes cased and open frame switchers, bulk power front ends, modular/configurable switchers, hot-plug and N+1 redundant switchers. The power supplies are used in a broad range of applications including servers, networks, workstations, data storage, office automation, instrumentation, test systems, medical systems, datacom, and wireline and wireless telecom systems.
