Murata’s smallest and thinnest LLC series 1µF MLCC

Murata has expanded its scope in the manufacture of multi-layer ceramic capacitors for automotive applications with the release of their LLC series.

The components feature a reversed termination for low ESL and are in a 0.18mm profile package. Footprint is just 0.5 x 1.0mm for 1µF capacitance making the parts the smallest in the market. (Read more.)

Delta’s new ORV3 18 kW power shelves for AI servers

Delta has announced the launch of its latest Open Rack version 3 (ORV3) 1 OU 18 kW power shelves at the OCP Global Summit in San Jose, California, USA.

The high-efficiency 6-slot-chassis power shelf is specifically designed to enable substantial energy savings in AI servers. It includes Delta’s new 3kW power supply units (PSU), which boast over 97.5% peak efficiency and can integrate the power management controller (PMC), with PoE (Power over Ethernet) function, to enable smart power management in AI data centres. Infineon introduces its first Qi2 MPP wireless charging transmitter

Infineon has introduced its first Qi2 Magnetic Power Profile (MPP) charging transmitter solution, the reference design kit REF_WLC_TX15W_M1.

Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. has unveiled the industry’s first Modular Hardware System Common Redundant Power Supply (M-CRPS) capable of delivering 1,800W in the industry’s new, ultra compact 60 x 185mm form factor.

Showcased at this year’s Open Compute Project (OCP) Global Summit in San Jose, the ultra-efficient proof-of-concept technology is also the first power supply in this form factor to be certified to the 80PLUS Titanium efficiency standard.  (Read more.)
