Power electronics in the spotlight at Fortronic Power 2018
A concentration of technological innovations and solutions in the power electronics industry will be on show at Fortronic Power 2018, the 15th edition of the event, organised by Assodel (Electronic Districts Association - Italy), and taking place in the city of Modena.
The event, that will take place on 28th June 2018 at Pavilion C of ModenaFiere, promises to be rich in content with a privileged approach to technicians, FAE and PME.
Among the main topics of the event, particular emphasis will be given to power management, inverter and energy storage, with a focus on IGBT, SJ-Mosfet and power module, wireless charging, medical and diagnostic, thermal management, EV/HEV and much other.
The exhibition area will host over 70 companies, and a small laboratory, created thanks to the partnership between Tektronix, Giakova and Eggtronic (a young start-up specialised in wireless devices) that will equip a measuring bench dedicated to wireless power transfer, wireless charging and data over power applications.
The event will also host two concurrent 'lunch conferences' starting at 12.00. The first, dedicated to high power devices, will be attended by companies such as AMI GE, Green Power Solutions, Usci, ECC Electromechanics, Fuji Electric, STMicroelectronics, Rohm Semiconductors and Tektronix.
Among the most significant interventions, the study of the expert Bernardo Sainz, Director of the Motor Drives Division of AMI General Electric, will talk about 'Piloting of AC/DC motors for high power applications'.
The second plenary conference will be dedicated to power management and will host the speeches by Wolfspeed, Infineon, Rutronik, Recom, and SGE-Syscom.
Throughout the day it will also be possible to attend to technical workshops, multi-player arenas, and to the three educational - training moments par excellence - scheduled in the afternoon: 'Display for industrial and hostile environments' by PowerTip / Consystem, 'Power supplies: Industrial and Medicals - certification changes and new monitoring options' by SGE-Syscom, 'SiC Technology: Innovation by Infineon for Energy Storage and Drives' by Infineon.
The participation at the event is free upon registration here.
