Ecopac Power adds to existing range of HRPG power supplies by introducing the Mean Well HRPG-450.

Featuring high operating efficiency, miniaturization, energy-saving and 5 years warranty, Mean Well have significantly reduced the size of the HRPG-450 by 38%, and increased the operating efficiency by up to 7% compared to existing models.

The HRPG series can be fitted into 1U low profile (41mm) racks or operated as a stand-alone unit; with up to 89.5% of high efficiency the power supplies can be cooled by the built-in long life DC fan. The HRPG-450 series can operate from -30°c to +50°c ambient temperature under full load condition, and even up to +70°c by derating the output load.

Designed with 300 VAC input surge immunity for 5 seconds, this function can reduce the damage caused by an unstable AC mains. In addition to compensate for wiring voltage drops, the HRPG-450 has remote sense function built-in to fix up to 0.5V of voltage drop.

Other protection functions include short circuit, overload (constant current mode), over voltage and over temperature.

To comply with the requirements of Energy Star and equivalent radiated power (ERP), Mean Well supply the HRPG-450 models with additional remote ON/OFF control and 5V/0.3A standby output to achieve a no load power consumption of less than 0. 5W.

The Mean Well HRPG-600 series is supplied with worldwide safety certificates, UL, CUL, TUV, CE, and CB. Applications include factory automation, moving sign, test and measurement equipment, and all applications that require low no load power consumption.
