These capacitors, qualified to AEC-Q200 standards, are ideal for 48 V vehicle applications and other platforms requiring compact designs. The APL90 series boasts a high capacitance of 1,100 µF, a rated voltage of 63 VDC, and offers excellent vibration resistance and high ripple current capability.

Key applications include automotive sectors, such as DC link capacitors in 48 V inverters for mild hybrid electric vehicles (MHEVs), as well as data centres, where they serve as input capacitors in power supply units for 48 V systems. 

The capacitors are suitable for operation across temperatures from -55 °C to +125 °C, providing impressive volumetric efficiency. Their rectangular shape allows for efficient module arrangement and can be mounted both horizontally and vertically. This design also facilitates easy integration with heat sinks, either along the large surface of the aluminium casing or its thickness.
