MINMAX Technology's high performance DC/DC converter family consists of MDWI08 series of 8W Isolated/Regulated DC/DC converters, MDW08 series of 8W Isolated/Regulated DC/DC converters, MDWI06 series of 6W Isolated/Regulated high power density DC/DC Converters, and MDWI10 Series of 10W DC/DC converters.

MINMAX Technology's high performance MD family DC/DC converter series comprises various models, encapsulated in an ultra-compact 16 pin DIP shielded metal package measuring 0.94x0.54x0.31”.

The Isolated/Regulated DC/DC Converter modules provide 4:1 (9-18VDC, 18-36VDC, 36-75VDC) and 2:1 (9-36 and 18-75VDC) input ranges with single output models ranging from 3.3VDC to 24VDC, and dual output models ranging from ±12V to ±15V, delivering 6-10W of output power.

The MINMAX MDfamily DC/DC converters, supplying an extremely high power density of up to 63.5W/in3 (MDWI10 series), have an I/O Isolation of 1,500VDC, and an ambient temperature range of -40°C to +88°C (refer to each derating curve).

The industrial-grade DC/DC converter modules have been qualified as per the CB scheme with safety approvals complying with UL/cUL/IEC/EN60950-1, UL/cUL/IEC/EN 62368-1, and Conducted EMI filter EN55032 Class A with no requirement for any additional components.

MDW08/MDWI08 series of high performance 8W isolated/regulated DC/DC converters
The MINMAX MDW08/MDWI08 series of high performance DC/DC converter modules is setting a new industry standard for power density and up to 50W/in3, features fully regulated outputs with high precision, low no-load power consumption, faster start-up, and no minimum load requirement, along with under-voltage protection, overload protection, and short-circuit protection.

MDWI06 Series of 6W isolated/regulated DC/DC converters
According to the company, the MDWI06 is industry’s smallest 6W encapsulated DC/DC converter series and consists of 14 models offering a broad input range of 9-36VDC, and 18-75VDC, with single and dual output models ranging from 3.3-24VDC.

All 14 models included in the MDWI06 6W Isolated/Regulated DC/DC converter series integrate high-class features like design-in EMI filter that meets EN55032 Class A, low no-load power consumption, fully regulated outputs, no minimum load requirement, under-voltage lockout, overload protection and short-circuit protection.

The 6W encapsulated DC/DC converter modules, featuring an I/O Isolation of 1,500VDC, are qualified as per the CB scheme, complying with safety approvals UL/cUL/IEC/EN 62368-1 (60950-1) standards. The Isolated/Regulated DC/DC converter modules, enabling an operating temperature range of -40°C to +90°C, deliver a high efficiency of up to 87%.

The MDWI06 series of 6W Isolated/Regulated DC/DC converters are encapsulated in a tiny 16 pin DIP shielded metal package, which measures 0.94x0.54x0.31”, and occupies 0.5 in2 of PCB space.

The DC/DC converter modules, available for 24VDC and 48VDC with an ultra-wide 4:1 input voltage range, enable an operating temperature range of -40℃ to 88℃.
